Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality in Boston is seeking a Convention Services Houseperson to support event setup and breakdown, maintain organized service areas, and assist with stations. You will play a key role in delivering seamless service while upholding brand standards.

The position requires morning and afternoon/evening shifts with regular weekend attendance in a 24/7 hotel environment, with emphasis on teamwork and safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, linens, meeting supplies, water, glassware, dishes.
• Coordinate daily schedule of set-up, refreshments and breakdown of rooms.
• Coordinate linen requirements with laundry operation.
• Maintain storage areas in an orderly and safe fashion.
• Provide cleaning of rooms, to include shampooing as required.
• Maintain all service areas in a clean and safe manner.
• Deliver guest requested services and product as directed for Banquet Management.
• Perform cleaning functions on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Convention Services or Banquet Managers.
• Responsible for practicing, managing and promoting our Mission and Values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operation.
