Job summary

Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui seeks a Banquet House Person to set up and service events with aloha spirit, ensuring safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will transport equipment, assist guests on the banquet floor, and maintain an organized workspace in a fast paced environment.

Hourly rate is $23.31. Schedule requires varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, and requires English proficiency and strong communication. Valid driver’s license preferred for occasional logistics.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of Banquet Food & Beverage experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Must be service oriented and able to communicate with guests and staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and breakdown of functions and transport equipment as needed.
• Provide service to guests on the banquet floor.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to Hawaii health and safety standards.
• Organize time to complete side work per shift.
