Job summary

Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal is seeking a Banquet Setup team member to prepare spaces for events, assist with equipment transport, and support staff during functions. You will help ensure clean, well-organized banquet areas and assist with A/V needs as required.

The role requires physical stamina, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hotel environment. Prior banquet setup experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet houseman or setup roles is beneficial.
• Strong stamina to lift/move heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Flexibility for irregular hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Attention to detail for cleanliness and organization.
• Basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event spaces per specifications (tables, chairs, linens, decorations).
• Transport banquet equipment and supplies to event locations safely and efficiently.
• Support banquet staff with tools and supplies during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in banquet areas before, during, and after events.
• Set up and operate audiovisual equipment and lighting as required.
• Collaborate with banquet team to address event-related needs.
• Monitor guest requests and respond professionally during events.
• Work with banquet managers and captains to ensure smooth flow.
• Assist in post-event cleanup and equipment breakdown.
