Sheraton San Diego Resort in downtown waterfront location is seeking a Banquet Set-Up team member to ensure flawless event execution, from room layout to equipment setup, linen, and stage areas. The role supports corporate meetings, weddings, and celebrations with a focus on guest satisfaction and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and move tables, chairs, linen, staging, and equipment safely.
• Arrange banquet rooms per BEO outlines and contract state.
• Breakdown, disposal, and storage of tables, chairs, linen, and equipment after functions.
• Complete closing duties and restock for next service or event.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet equipment, function space, and back-of-house areas.
• Assist guests and work with co-workers to provide excellent service.
• Follow safety standards and hotel policies.
