Job summary

The Spokane Club Inc invites applications for the Banquet Porter role. You will help set up and break down banquet spaces, arrange furniture, linens, and equipment for events, and keep areas clean and welcoming for guests throughout the event lifecycle.

Successful candidates will have physical stamina, reliability, and good communication with team members. Prior banquet or hospitality experience is a plus, with on-the-job training provided. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to perform lifting, standing, and moving for long periods.

• Detail-oriented in cleaning, setup, and reset of spaces.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms with tables, chairs, linens, and equipment as required.
• Assist in breakdown and cleaning of banquet spaces after events.
• Clear and reset tables during events to maintain cleanliness.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste per venue policies.
• Replenish supplies like napkins, condiments, and glassware.
• Collaborate with banquet staff to ensure smooth event execution.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
