Hyatt Regency DFW Airport is seeking a Convention Services Houseperson to support event setups and breakdowns across meetings and banquets. You will arrange tables, chairs, staging, linens, and water stations, ensuring spaces are guest-ready and adaptable to last‑minute changes.

The role requires physical stamina, a guest-focused mindset, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, in a fast-paced environment at the DFW property.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderate to heavy equipment.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting and event spaces.
• Arrange tables, chairs, staging, linens, water stations and other equipment.
• Ensure rooms are clean, organized and guest-ready; respond to setup changes promptly.
• Collaborate with Events and Banquets teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Join our Events Team as a Convention Services Houseperson at Hyatt Regency DFW Airport, conveniently located across from Terminal C at DFW International Airport. With 811 guest rooms and over 92,000 square feet of meeting and event space, our hotel hosts everything from corporate meetings to large‑scale conventions, creating memorable experiences for guests from around the world.

About the Role

As a Convention Services Houseperson, you'll play a key role in bringing events to life. From setting up meeting rooms to transforming spaces for conferences, banquets, and special events, your work ensures every event is ready for success.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and breaking down meeting and event spaces
• Arranging tables, chairs, staging, linens, water stations, and other event equipment
• Ensuring meeting rooms are clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Responding to event setup changes and service requests efficiently
• Working closely with the Events and Banquets teams to deliver exceptional experiences
