Job summary

Salt Fork Lodge is seeking Banquet Set Up Attendants to prepare and tear down tables and chairs for group events in the ballroom, lounge, and restaurant areas. Duties include placing linens, skirting per the BEO, and assisting with Audio Visual setup.

This role is on-site, shifts may start early for breakfast or run late for weddings. You must be 16 or older, weekends/holidays are required, and you must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down tables and chairs for events.
• Place linens and skirting per BEO requirements.
• Assist with AV setup and troubleshoot; may assist with serving as needed.

Job description

Pay dependent on experience, $11-$15/hr.

Seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly personalities for our Banquet Set Up Attendant positions to set up/tear down of tables & chairs for all group events such as holiday buffets, weddings, corporate events, family reunions, etc. in the ballroom, lounge and/or restaurant area. Places linen and skirting as required by the Banquet Event Order (BEO) along with setting up and troubleshooting Audio Visual equipment. May provide beverage/snacks to meeting rooms and assist with serving as needed. Work is intermittent and based on group bookings. Candidates must be 16 or older by start date. Open availability will be given priority. Weekends & holidays required. Shifts may start as early as 5am for breakfast and as late as 12am for weddings/events. May also require split shifts at times. Must be able to repeatedly lift/carry up to 25 lbs., frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift/carry up to 75 lbs. Requires lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods of time.
