Hilton Garden Inn Iowa City Downtown is seeking banquet setup staff and on-call banquet servers. The role involves setting up and tearing down banquet rooms, assisting kitchen and banquet staff, and providing courteous guest service.

• Organize and clean banquet storage, audiovisual area, linen storage shelves and the pop/beer cage.
• Clean the beer cooler, back kitchen, banquet bars and liquor storage rooms. Assist in keeping the property clean inside and out as assigned.
• Assist kitchen and banquet wait-staff in serving banquets.
• Set up and serve meeting/banquet breaks.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver.
• Vacuums meeting and banquet rooms.
• Replaces light bulbs in meeting rooms.

SUMMARY

Sets up and cleans up banquets/ meetings and provides customer service by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
