Mariner Sands Country Club in Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Houseperson / Banquet Set-Up team member for seasonal, part-time work. This role focuses on arranging furniture and equipment for various events and supporting housekeeping tasks as needed.

You will help maintain clean, orderly guest areas and respond to guest requests while upholding the club’s standards of service. Regular weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

Mariner Sands Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseperson /Banquet Set-Up team member to join our hospitality team, responsible for setting up furniture and equipment for various events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the seamless execution of events by ensuring all furniture and equipment are properly arranged and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of club furniture and equipment
• Support housekeeping staff with tasks such as cleaning and preparing guest areas
• Ensure all public spaces are tidy, inviting, and well-maintained throughout the day
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with special event setups as neededAdhere to safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to move, push, pull, and position heavy furniture and equipment as required.

• Must be able to safely perform physical tasks associated with the position, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, supplies, furniture, and equipment.
