Job summary

Pittsburgh Airport Marriott, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, invites you to join our banquet team as a Set-Up Attendant. You will prepare banquet rooms for events, arrange equipment, and ensure spaces meet standards for each function.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with culinary and stewarding staff and assist with tear-down after events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and arrange conference equipment per event order.
• Thoroughly clean classrooms, ballrooms, and team rooms daily.
• Refresh meeting rooms during breaks and restock supplies.
• Move convention material boxes and programs as needed.
• Bus tables and re-set them during service.
• Resolve guest issues to create an exceptional experience.
• Maintain positive relations with culinary and stewarding teams.
• Stay aware of events and meetings happening on site.

This individual will help to direct the set up and preparation of banquet rooms for banquet functions, as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.If you have experience with setting up banquet events, enjoy making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you!
