Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a team member for its Banquets group in Columbus, Ohio. You will support meeting and event services, set up rooms, and work with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications and ensure proper layout and readiness.
• Transport and arrange tables, chairs, and equipment between storage and function spaces.
• Provide clean glasses and fresh water, restock as needed during shifts.
• Break down meeting rooms after events and return items to storage.
• Maintain a regular cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to stay presentable.
• Follow attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work. Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms. Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water. Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function. Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
