Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a Banquet Server to set up banquet rooms, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction at events. You will work closely with supervisors to maintain Crescent’s high standards of quality and guest service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, replenishing beverages, and resetting rooms after events. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain BASSET/food handler certifications within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Knowledge of service standards and guest relations.
• Ability to obtain BASSET and food handler certifications within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function specifics.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a courteous manner.
• Serve food/beverages in the order and to the Supervisor's expectations; clear dishes promptly.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction throughout the function.
• Reset banquet room after events to the Supervisor’s specifications for the next function.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate beverage-service requirements.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
