Job summary

The Bohemian Club is hiring a SERVER to provide outstanding meal service for our membership in San Francisco. This union role requires joining Local 2 and offers a schedule with most weekends and all major holidays off. The position includes training and teamwork in a dynamic club environment.

Responsibilities include setting up service stations, memorizing menus, delivering meals, and maintaining cleanliness across dining areas. Salary ranges from $32.56 to $33.56 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• RBS certification or obtain within 2 months of start date.
• Food Handlers certification preferred but not required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with coworkers, members, and management.
• Able to carry a 25 lb. tray on your shoulder.
• Able to carry 30-40 lb. bus tub of dirty dishes.
• Stand, walk, lift, and carry trays throughout shift.
• Be well groomed and in proper uniform.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and stations for meal service.
• Memorize menu and daily specials.
• Serve in a modified banquet style.
• Acknowledge members within 10 feet with a smile and greeting.
• Answer questions about the menu.
• Carry food from kitchen to members and back.
• Check in with members during meals and assist as needed.
• Break down tables and stations after meals.
• Maintain dining room and back-of-house cleanliness.
• Accept feedback from management and adjust.
• Bus tables and move dirty dish tubs to the dish room.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
