This part-time Banquet Server role involves assisting in event preparations, serving food and beverages, and managing setup, breakdown, and cleaning functions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Serve food and beverages to guests and set up/break down banquet rooms as per contract and manager's instructions.
• Prepare work areas before functions.
• Handle guest requests and seek assistance from supervisors when needed.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors on work progress.
• Maintain cleanliness in banquet rooms, public areas, and storage.
• Manage inventory of supplies.
• Uphold Marcus' high standards of quality and service.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

What We Are Looking For

• Prior experience in restaurant, banquet serving, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays under pressure.
• Knowledge of table settings, setup, and food and beverage service standards.
• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to understand and respond to instructions in English.
• Quick and accurate response to guest requests.
