Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking a banquet server to assist Members/Guests by serving meals with courtesy and efficiency. You will set up the banquet area, greet guests, and ensure service standards are followed across events.

Responsibilities include clearing, replenishing beverages, assisting with side work, and attending training and staff meetings. You may work at multiple outlets and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Manager/Captain to ensure consistency in the order throughout the banquet.
• Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Check out with supervisor.
• Knowledgeable of menu items, preparation and prices.
• Perform assigned side work.
• Responds to and informs supervisor of any Guest questions, complaints and suggestionsor maintenance issues.
• Attend Resort training classes as required.
• Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled.
• In this position you will be expected to be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels. In addition, you will be expected to work holidays wherever needed even if your primary outlet is closed.
