Base pay range

$12.00/hr - $12.00/hr

Position Summary

The Banquet Server will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $12 to $15, plus tips.

For PT roles: Benefits include 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
• Carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with WCC standards of service.
• Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring needs are anticipated and met.
• Set up and maintain food and beverage stations throughout the building, adhering to WCC standards.
• Maintain inventory for food and beverage stations.
• Keep event areas and front of house staging areas tidy and organized.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Work independently during slower times.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Work closely with staff and patrons, demonstrating high social contact.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
• Handle and move objects safely.
• Maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
• Read and communicate effectively in English.
• Use basic arithmetic skills.
• Stand for extended periods, and reach, bend, or stretch as needed.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects up to 30 lbs. and 15 lbs. frequently.
• Attend punctually and maintain consistent attendance.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints appropriately.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred; experience may substitute.
• At least one year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
