Role Overview

The Server will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers an hourly wage of $12.00 to $13.00 plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
• Carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
• Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring all needs are anticipated and met.
• Setup and maintain food and beverage stations throughout the venue, consistent with standards.
• Maintain inventory for food and beverage stations.
• Keep event areas and front of house staging areas tidy and organized.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Work independently during slower times.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Engage in high levels of social contact, working closely with staff and patrons.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Multi-task effectively.
• Handle and move objects safely.
• Maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
• Read and communicate effectively in English.
• Apply basic arithmetic skills.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Bend, stretch, twist, or reach as needed.
• Lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 30 lbs, frequently 15 lbs.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent; experience may substitute.
• Have at least one year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
