Position Summary

The Banquet Server will provide exceptional hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $12, plus tips.

Responsibilities
  1. Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
  2. Carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
  3. Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
  4. Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring all needs are anticipated and met.
  5. Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building, consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
  6. Maintain and inventory food and beverage stations.
  7. Keep all event areas and front of house staging areas tidy and organized.
  8. Participate in setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
  9. Work independently during slower times.
  10. Contribute to a safe and clean work environment.
  11. Maintain high levels of social contact, working closely with staff and patrons.
  12. Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
  13. Be detail-oriented to ensure work accuracy and completeness.
  14. Multi-task effectively.
  15. Handle and move objects safely.
  16. Maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
  17. Read and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  18. Have basic arithmetic knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  19. Stand for extended periods.
  20. Bend, stretch, twist, or reach as needed.
  21. Lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 30 lbs., often 15 lbs.
  22. Be punctual with consistent attendance.
  23. Respond appropriately to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, staff, or regulatory agencies.
