Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver professional, fine-dining level service during events. You will help setup banquet spaces, serve guests according to standards, and coordinate with kitchen and events staff to ensure timely course delivery.

This part-time role offers an hourly wage of $14.00–$18.00 and is tip eligible, with benefits including a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. The position remains open through November 6, 2026.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects; capable of carrying at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands banquet event orders.
• Provides fine-dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with standards of service.
• Initiates and maintains friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring needs are anticipated and met.
• Setup and maintain food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building.
• Maintain inventory for both food and beverage stations.
• Maintain event areas and front-of-house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Work independently during slower times.
• Contribute to a safe and clean work environment.
• Interact with guests to provide excellent service and a positive experience.

Position Summary
A Banquet Server plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and efficient food and beverage service during events. Their primary function is to ensure that all guests feel welcomed and attended to, following event specifications and service standards. From the setup of banquet spaces to the seamless execution of meal service, they maintain an acute focus on detail and hospitality. Banquet Servers work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff to ensure the timely delivery of courses, adapt to guest needs in real-time, and uphold the ambiance and quality of the event. Beyond serving, Servers contribute to the overall success of events by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the service. Banquet Servers reset spaces for subsequent events and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately. Whether it's a formal gala, a corporate event, or a wedding reception, this applies. Banquet Servers are integral in creating a positive impression of the venue and event host, embodying professionalism, efficiency, and a guest-focused attitude.
This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$18.00 and is tip eligible.

• Must be punctual with consistent attendance.
• Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers.
