Position Summary

The Server will provide exceptional hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $13 to $18.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
• Carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
• Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring all needs are anticipated and met.
• Set up and maintain food and beverage stations throughout the building, adhering to DLTCC standards.
• Maintain inventory for food and beverage stations.
• Keep all event areas and front-of-house staging areas tidy and organized.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Work independently during slower times.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain high social contact, working closely with staff and patrons.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure work accuracy and completeness.
• Multi-task effectively.
• Handle and move objects safely.
• Maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
• Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Have basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Stand for extended periods.
• Be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach.
• Lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 30 lbs., often 15 lbs.
• Be punctual with consistent attendance.
• Respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, staff, or regulatory agencies.
