Job description

The Server will provide exceptional hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role pays an hourly rate of $13 to $18.

Minimum Requirements and Responsibilities:
  1. Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
  2. Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
  3. Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
  4. Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring all needs are anticipated and met.
  5. Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations throughout the venue in accordance with standards.
  6. Maintain inventory for food and beverage stations.
  7. Keep event areas and front of house staging areas tidy and organized.
  8. Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
  9. Work independently during slower times.
  10. Contribute to a safe and clean work environment.
  11. Maintain high social contact, working closely with staff and patrons.
  12. Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  13. Be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of work.
  14. Multitask effectively.
  15. Handle and move objects safely.
  16. Maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
  17. Read and communicate effectively in English.
  18. Possess basic arithmetic skills.
  19. Stand for extended periods.
  20. Perform physical activities like bending, stretching, and reaching.
  21. Lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 30 lbs, often 15 lbs.
  22. Punctuality and consistent attendance are required.
  23. Respond appropriately to customer inquiries and complaints.
  24. High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience may substitute.
  25. Minimum of one year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
  26. Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
