Position Summary

The Banquet Server will provide exceptional hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities include assisting during Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner services, overseeing banquet room needs, and communicating effectively with guests and the culinary team. The Banquet Server will restock or run items needed for catering and banquet lines.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$20.00 and is tip eligible.

About the Venue

Centene Community Ice Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed for hockey programming for all ages and skill levels. It has three sheets of ice year-round and features an outdoor rink for winter use. It serves as the official practice facility for the NHL's St. Louis Blues and the home rink for Lindenwood University (NCAA DI). The facility also offers freestyle skating and public skate sessions, providing a unique experience for locals.

Saint Louis Music Park is an outdoor venue with a 4,500-seat capacity, hosting concerts, festivals, and markets. Performers have included Alicia Keys, Machine Gun Kelly, The Avett Brothers, and others. It offers an intimate outdoor amphitheater experience with amenities like food trucks, picnic tables, and yard games.

Responsibilities

1. Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
2. Setup and carry chafing pans for food service.
3. Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests.
4. Maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring their needs are met.
5. Setup and maintain food and beverage stations.
6. Inventory management for stations.
7. Keep event areas and front of house staging areas tidy and organized.
8. Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
9. Work independently during slower times.
10. Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
11. Maintain high social contact and work closely with staff and patrons.
12. Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
13. Be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
14. Handle and move objects safely.
15. Maintain a customer-focused, positive, professional attitude.
16. Communicate effectively in English.
17. Possess basic arithmetic skills.
18. Stand for extended periods.
19. Bend, stretch, twist, or reach as needed.
20. Lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects up to 30 lbs.
21. Punctuality and consistent attendance are required.
22. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints appropriately.

Qualifications
