Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking an On-Call Banquets server to join our dynamic banquets team. You will provide exceptional guest service, share knowledge of food and beverage menu items, and inform guests about preparation methods.

Responsibilities include assisting in set-up, coordinating with the Banquet Manager, and ensuring timely delivery of courses while maintaining Four Seasons standards.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet service experience is helpful.
• Excellent guest service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Clear communication with colleagues and guests.

Responsibilities

• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; relay guest orders to the Banquet Manager or kitchen; confirm orders with the guest's original selections.
• Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest requests.
• Break down, clean and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

About The Role

Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking an On-Call Banquets server to join our dynamic banquets team. Banquet servers provide exceptional guest service, illustrate exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items and provide information regarding preparation methods to guests.

What You Will Do

• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection’s, origin, taste, and preparation method; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest conerns and requests.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
