Hotel Bel Air is seeking a Banquets Server to deliver outstanding food and beverage service at luxury events in a on-call seasonal role. You will set up for functions, anticipate guest needs, and execute requests to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires staying adaptable to varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on meticulous service standards and teamwork within a renowned hospitality brand.

Responsabilités

• Serve all food and beverage functions to the standards set by the B.E.O and Hotel Bel Air.
• Set tables, side stands, and back of house areas for functions and food displays.
• Anticipate guest needs to create memorable experiences.
• Fulfill special requests involving dietary restrictions, drink preferences, and timing.
• Report and help correct any imperfections to maintain luxury standards.
• Work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

As a BanquetServer you will be compensated $25.00 per hour.

What you’ll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• You will be responsible for serving all food and beverage functions according to the standards set forth by the B.E.O and Hotel Bel Air during their day. This will include properly setting tables, side stands, and back of the house areas for functions, including all food preparations such as display or buffet, all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience. Anticipating our guest needs will create ever lasting memories for our guests.


• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary restrictions, drink preferences, timing requirements and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Banquet Servers.


• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Banquet Servers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
