Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to deliver food and beverage service for hotel banquet events. You’ll help ensure the function space is visually appealing and present the menu offerings for each event.

Responsibilities include setup, room refreshes, linen and place settings, and maintaining a sanitary service environment while collaborating with a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Clear communication skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds).
• Must work well in a team setting.
• Food Handlers Certification and TABC Certification required or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage service at hotel banquet functions.
• Ensure the function space is visually appealing and present the menu offerings for the event.
• Perform linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service; maintain sanitation.

This person helps ensure the function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Qualifications
