Ideal candidates have banquet or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. Training such as ServSafe and TIPS is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet operations and/or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• The Banquet Server ensures quality customer service to our guests during events and banquets.
• Set up assigned tables, retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirements; maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.
