Job summary

The Westin Poinsett, Greenville, is hiring a part-time Banquet Server to assist the Banquet Manager during events. You will set up, greet guests, serve courses and beverages, and help reset rooms for the next function, while adhering to alcohol-service regulations.

Hotel experience is preferred; strong teamwork and customer-service focus are essential to ensure guest satisfaction at our downtown Greenville venue.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be a team player willing to pitch-in.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linens, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function specifics.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages and maintain consistency per supervisor.
• Reset banquet room for the following function after completion.
• Comply with state, federal and corporate alcohol-serving rules.
