Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a banquet server to deliver exceptional hospitality at our Las Vegas venues. You will set up banquet rooms, greet guests, and serve food and beverages using trays or buffet carts to ensure smooth Function experiences.

The role requires physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, and push carts up to 100 pounds, along with strong customer service and clear communication to guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to push and/or pull carts weighing approximately 100 pounds.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room in accordance with catering specification sheet; table linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverage items to guests using hand-held trays and/or buffet carts.
• Prepare and set up condiments.
• Break down banquet room upon completion of function; remove soiled dishes, glassware and silverware and transport to dishwashing area.
