Job summary

Pine Island Country Club is seeking a friendly Banquet Server to deliver outstanding service during events and banquets. You will greet members, assist with event setup, serve meals and beverages, and help maintain a pristine banquet area.

Work closely with the Banquet Manager and team to ensure guests have a memorable experience while adhering to health and safety standards, proper etiquette, and state laws. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Banquet Server preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must know serving techniques, etiquette and setting arrangements.
• Knowledge of state alcohol laws, RASP and FAB.
• Stays abreast of Company products and services; can recommend enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and their guests in a friendly but professional manner.
• Assist with event preparation including setting up banquet tables and chairs according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to members and their guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Clear tables and clean up banquet area after events.
• Ensure satisfaction of members and their thier guests by checking in with them throughout the event.
• Maintains cleanliness of eating areas in compliance with Health & Safety, OSHA, and EPA.
• Performs other duties as needed.
