Job summary

The Essex Resort & Spa in Essex Junction, Vermont is seeking a Banquet Server to set up and prepare banquet rooms for functions, serve and bus tables, and tear down spaces after events. This role focuses on precision, guest satisfaction, and teamwork in a renowned hospitality property.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in food & beverage, a high school diploma, and a friendly, service-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years food and beverage experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and helpful personality.

Responsibilities

• Set up for functions to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and put out table centerpieces.
• Service to include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the tables.
• Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
• Responsibilities also include cleaning of back hall and organizing of storerooms.
