Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Bee Cave, TX is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service at weddings, meetings and events. You will set up, run, and break down banquet spaces, engage guests, upsell beverages, and work with culinary and F&B teams to ensure flawless events.

Ideal candidates have banquet or hospitality experience, strong guest service skills, POS familiarity, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends. TABC and Food Handler certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet service or hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of service practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with POS and cash handling.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• TABC and Food Handler certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down banquet events according to orders and standards.
• Provide exceptional guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Review event orders to understand setup, menus, beverages, counts, timing.
• Maintain knowledge of banquet menu and beverages.
• Assist with glassware, inventory, and event documentation.
• Follow food safety guidelines and responsible alcohol service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with Banquet, Event, Culinary, and F&B leadership.
• Support upselling beverage programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
