Job summary

Castaway, part of Specialty Restaurants Corporation, seeks an experienced Banquet Server to deliver outstanding dining experiences at weddings, corporate events and other special occasions. You will join our Special Events team and help ensure 100% guest satisfaction throughout banquet operations.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet rooms, coordinating service with kitchen staff, greeting guests, and clearing tables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of banquet server or similar role experience.
• Available on Friday/Saturday afternoons/evenings and Sunday mornings/afternoons.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina; can lift 15–45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort to designated tables.
• Serve meals and beverages per established standards.
• Coordinate timely food delivery between kitchen and banquet floor.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas.
• Collaborate with fellow servers, bartenders, and staff for seamless service.
• Assist during high-traffic periods by carrying trays and clearing tables.
