MyrtleBeach Seaside Resorts is seeking a Banquet Server for Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach. You will provide food and beverage service at events, including weddings, conferences, and corporate dinners, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth service.

Responsibilities include assisting with event setup, greeting guests, delivering plated meals and beverages, following safety guidelines, and helping with post-event cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Event Setup: arrange tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glassware and décor per event plans; prepare buffet and beverage stations.
• Guest Service: greet guests, serve plated meals and beverages, refill drinks and keep tables tidy.
• Food & Beverage Handling: follow safety guidelines, deliver dishes from kitchen to banquet area, assist with bars and dessert stations.
• Event Support: coordinate with kitchen staff, follow banquet captain directions and adapt to changes.
• Post-Event Duties: clear tables, reset banquet room, return equipment and communicate feedback to supervisor.

  • Arrangetables, chairs, linens, silverware, glassware, and décor according toevent plans.
  • Preparebuffet stations, beverage stations, and place settings.
• GuestService
  • Greetguests and ensure they are comfortable.
  • Serveplated meals, beverages, and appetizers.
  • Refilldrinks, clear plates, and maintain tidy tables.
  • Answerguest questions about menu items.
• Food &Beverage Handling
  • Follow foodsafety and sanitation guidelines.
