Job summary

AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown is seeking energetic Banquet Servers to support our busy banquets and events. You will help ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction during group functions.

A high school diploma is required; English proficiency is essential. You will read a Banquet Event Order, know the menu, and assist with setup and breakdown while upholding standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction through meeting room cleanliness and attention to guests’ needs.
• Maintain a high level of sanitation and cleanliness before, during and after each shift.
• Read Banquet Event Orders, answer guest questions, and be willing to go above and beyond to please our guests.
• Know the menu for each function and be able to explain major ingredients and preparation methods for each item served.
• Assist managers and captains in setting up and breaking down functions while enforcing all policies and procedures.
• Extend courtesy and goodwill to everyone at all times, making the guest event memorable.
