Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality is seeking a Banquets and Catering Server to deliver outstanding service at private events, weddings, and corporate functions. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and ensure guest satisfaction from setup to breakdown.

The role requires clear communication, the ability to follow detailed event plans, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food safety and alcohol service compliance are part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet rooms or event spaces according to event orders (tables, linens, place settings, decorations).
• Greet guests courteously and assist with seating as needed.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, efficient, and professional manner during plated, buffet, or cocktail-style events.
• Refill beverages, clear dishes, and reset tables as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas before, during, and after events.
• Follow instructions from Banquet Captain or Event Manager regarding event flow and service expectations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service.
• Set up and break down banquet and catering equipment (chafing dishes, beverage stations, etc.).
• Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
