Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is hiring a part-time banquet server to support events at San Marcos Embassy Suites. You will set up and break down spaces, serve meals and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the event cycle.

We value teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to safety and quality. Training includes food safety and alcohol certification within 90 days, with a focus on guest experience and professional service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months serving experience for medium to large groups.
• Food Safety certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Alcohol certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces per Banquet Event Orders, including linens, settings, and A/V equipment.
• Serve food and beverages with focus on timing, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized banquet areas throughout the event cycle.
• Manage guest needs with professionalism and support the event contact.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies to ensure a safe environment.

• Serve food and beverages with a focus on timing, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized banquet areas throughout the event cycle.
• Manage guest needs with professionalism, supporting the event contact throughout the function.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 6 months serving experience for medium to large groups.
• Food Safety certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Alcohol certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs, bend and squat repeatedly, and stand/walk for entire shift.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
