Job summary

Maumee Bay Lodge is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver excellent food and beverage service during events and banquets. Duties include serving plated meals or buffets for corporate events, weddings, and other catered functions in Oregon, OH.

Shifts start as early as 5am and may extend to 12am–1am for weddings, with a preference for DAY shift availability. A pay rate of $7.50 per hour plus service charges is offered, with average earnings enhanced by event-based tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and efficient manner.
• Carry large service trays with up to 8 meals for plated events.
• Set up for banquet events to include chafers, place settings, napkins, condiments, waters, etc.
• Breakdown of chafers, napkins, condiments, glasses, etc.
• Bus tables during the event to ensure tables are clean for attendees.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the banquet area.
• May set up tables and chairs when needed.

Job description

The Banquet Server at Maumee Bay Lodge will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests during events and banquets. Banquet Servers will serve either plated meals or buffets for corporate events, weddings, family reunions and all other catered events.

We offer you pay at $7.50 per hour plus service charge from events worked. With service charge received you'll average anywhere from $13.00 - $20.00 per hour or more depending on business levels.

Shifts start as early as 5am for breakfast and may go as late as 12am - 1am for weddings. Seeking candidates with DAY shift availability.
