Job summary

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a part-time Banquet Server for The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. You will provide excellent guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting, maintaining a positive and efficient presence for guests.

This is a tipped position; the hourly pay listed does not include potential tip earnings. Benefits are available to eligible team members and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Minimum of 3 months’ previous experience in food and beverage service preferred.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up tables for function in accordance with banquet event order.
• Accurately transports food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Performs tasks to service guests including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dishes.
• Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to policies.
• Monitors guest needs and handles any guest complaints.
• Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable).
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
• Breaks down event according to company procedures.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring part-time Banquet Servers to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. As a Banquet Server you will provide outstanding customer service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting, ensuring that the Lodge at Geneva guests’ needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner.The ideal Banquet Server candidate will be friendly, positive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$12.00 – $12.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Sets up tables for function in accordance with banquet event order

• Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow team members
• Breaks down event according to company procedures

More about you

• Must be 18 or older
• Minimum of 3 months’ previous experience in food and beverage service preferred

Physical requirements
