Job summary

North Point Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly hospitality assistant to welcome guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks in a high-energy environment.

You will assist with event setup and closing, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and help ensure guest satisfaction while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• 1–3 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of bartending techniques to craft commonly ordered drinks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter and help them find their seats.
• Answer questions, take orders, convey kitchen/bar instructions, and serve food and beverages to guests.
• Circulate the room with trays of appetizers and drinks.
• Direct guests to services and features they need.

What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

• Greet guests as they enter and help them find their seats.
• See to the comfort of guests through answering questions, taking orders, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and serving food and beverages.
• Circulate the room with trays of appetizers and beverages.
• Direct guests to necessary services and features.
• Assist with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, table cloths, place settings and buffets.
• Support the other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety and quality regulations.

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of barkeeping techniques to create commonly ordered drinks
• Professionalism
• Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
• Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude
• Ability to act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
