Job summary

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. is seeking a hospitality team member to warmly greet guests, seat them, and ensure a delightful dining experience. You will handle orders, relay kitchen and bar instructions, and serve food and beverages with professionalism.

Responsibilities include tray service, event setup/teardown, and assisting colleagues to maintain guest satisfaction while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1–3 years relevant experience in hospitality or service.
• Demonstrated knowledge of bartending techniques to create commonly ordered drinks.
• Professionalism and gracious hosting.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond in a friendly, helpful manner.

What you’ll do (mostly this…other duties may be assigned):

• Greet guests as they enter and help them find their seats.


• See to the comfort of guests through answering questions, taking orders, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and serving food and beverages.


• Circulate the room with trays of appetizers and beverages.


• Direct guests to necessary services and features.


• Assist with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, table cloths, place settings and buffets.


• Support the other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.


• Adhere to safety and quality regulations.

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred


• 1-3 years relevant experience


• Demonstrated knowledge of barkeeping techniques to create commonly ordered drinks


• Professionalism


• Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner


• Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude


• Ability to act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
