Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Greensboro, NC is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional to assist in meal preparation, follow menus, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen. This hourly, full-time role requires availability for both AM and PM shifts and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will work with knives and other kitchen tools, prepare sauces, and help with portion control and storage. The position offers weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) with employer match, holiday pay, and career

Qualifications

• Must have availability to work both AM & PM Shifts.
• Strong culinary skills with experience in food prep techniques.
• Proficient in using kitchen tools, including knives, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Experience in catering/banquets a big plus
• Excellent organizational skills
• Should thrive in busy kitchen environment
• A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per menu specifications.
• Prepare sauces for use in various dishes
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times and maintain a clean and neat work station.
