Job Title

Banquet Prep Cook

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies.
2. Prepare and cook food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces and dressings, recording items that are running low).
3. Clean up station, wrap and put away unused food.
4. Organize and clean all food preparation areas.
5. Ensure all foods and prepared items are maintained at the highest quality during preparation, cooking, and presentation.
6. Maintain consistency of all foods with attention to quality, taste, and presentation.
7. Comply with all nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards.
8. Ensure food is served at scheduled times.
9. Assist co-workers to ensure timely and smooth service.
10. Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.
11. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
12. Perform additional duties and follow instructions as requested by supervisors or managers.
