Position: Banquet Prep Cook

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare and cook food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces and dressings, recording items that are running low)
  • Clean up station, wrap and put away food not used
  • Organize and clean all food preparation areas
  • Ensure that all foods and prepared items are maintained at the highest quality during the preparing, cooking, and presentation
  • Maintain consistency of all foods with great attention to quality, taste, and presentation
  • Comply with all nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously at scheduled times
  • Assist co-workers to ensure a timely and smooth service
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
  • Perform additional duties and follow instructions as requested by supervisor(s) and/or manager(s)
