Job summary

Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL, is seeking an On Call/Casual Banquets role to supervise kitchen and dining room staff during banquet events. Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
1–3 months related experience; previous banquet operations experience preferred.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
Must possess basic computational ability and computer skills.
Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment and adapt to interruptions.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen and dining room staff during banquet functions.
Check room sets, quantities of food items, and timing with Banquet Chef; ensure china, glassware, linen, and other items are ready.
Conduct pre-function meetings; allocate stations and review banquet event orders.
Communicate with the meeting planner and note any last-minute changes or instructions.
Monitor upcoming groups, read banquet menus, and ensure food is served at the correct temperature.
