Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager in Texas to supervise banquet staff, oversee setup and service, and ensure guest satisfaction. The role emphasizes attentiveness to guest needs, safety, and seamless event execution within a dynamic hotel environment.

Salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 annually, with benefits and opportunities for career growth across Valor's properties. The position requires strong communication and leadership during events.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Must read, speak and understand English.
• Ability to lift/push 20–40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Check server’s and house person’s BEOs to ensure accuracy.
• Review room set-up to confirm BEO directions are followed.
• Ensure public areas are neat and clean.
• Coordinate with group representatives and explain contact procedures during events.
• Ensure correct presentation and service of Food & Beverage items per standards and event orders.
• Maintain constant communication between Culinary Department and Banquet Team during events.
