A Banquet Manager is responsible for managing the daily execution of all banquet functions in the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Manager, you will oversee the daily execution of all banquet functions, including planning, organizing, and executing events such as breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing banquet functions and overseeing setup and breakdown of function rooms
• Ensuring proper presentation and inspection of linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware
• Monitoring and developing team performance through supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluations
• Recruiting, interviewing, and training team members
• Communicating event specifications and changes with relevant departments
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards
