Hermitage Country Club is seeking a professional Banquet Manager to lead event operations for weddings, member events, corporate functions, and private celebrations. The role requires a service-focused leader who can coordinate staff, kitchens, and management to deliver outstanding hospitality.

The ideal candidate has banquet or restaurant leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high guest service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown of events
• Ensure all events are executed according to BEOs
• Attend BEO meetings to review event setup, timelines, service details, and other operational needs
• Maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism
• Coordinate with culinary and management teams to ensure timely service
• Monitor event timelines and address guest needs promptly
• Train and mentor banquet team members
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper presentation of banquet spaces
• Assist with room setups including tables, linens, décor, and service stations
• Set up, test, operate, troubleshoot, and break down audio-visual equipment for club events

Pay: Annual Salary Range $60,000 - $65,000
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available
Schedule: Evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and experienced in banquet or restaurant leadership.

The Banquet Manager serves as the primary floor leader during events, ensuring smooth execution, outstanding guest service, and effective communication between banquet staff, kitchen teams, and event management.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown of events
• Ensure all events are executed according to banquet event orders (BEOs)
• Attend BEO meetings to review event setup, timelines, service details, and other operational needs.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism
• Coordinate with culinary and management teams to ensure timely service
• Monitor event timelines and address guest needs promptly
• Train and mentor banquet team members
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper presentation of banquet spaces
• Assist with room setups including tables, linens, décor, and service stations
• Set up, test, operate, troubleshoot, and break down audio-visual equipment-including microphones, speakers, projectors, screens, displays, and presentation systems-for club events.
