Job summary

Legends Global in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced banquet cook to support high-volume events at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. The role requires knowledge of all cooking techniques, with banquet cooking and basic garde manger experience.

You will work with culinary staff, maintain food quality and safety, and ensure timely meal components, while following HACCP regulations and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a restaurant or banquet facility handling high-volume meal production.
• Minimum of one year direct experience cooking food.

Responsibilities

• Produce menu items and maintain par levels to support each event.
• Coordinate with Lead Cook to ensure components are ready on time.
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen throughout shift.
• Communicate between morning and evening shifts for long-cooking items and upcoming events.
• Follow HACCP regulations for cooling and storage; ensure proper sanitation.
