Legends Global at Oklahoma City Convention Center is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations, manage purchasing, receiving, and production, and oversee stewarding and concessions.

The role requires strong leadership, brand-driven menu development, cost management, and a focus on safety and quality across all events. A high-volume background and Serve Safe certification are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4–5 years of culinary leadership experience in a high-volume banquet, convention, or event-driven environment.
• Proven experience managing food cost, labor cost, inventory tracking, and culinary budgets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff.
• Results oriented with ability to meet budgetary goals.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary strategy and align with the Director of F&B to elevate the venue’s food identity.
• Develop innovative menus and concepts reflecting current trends and local sourcing.
• Monitor revenue growth, margins, and cost control initiatives.
• Oversee culinary production for banquets, concessions, retail, catering, and events.
• Enforce standardized recipes, production systems, and SOPs; drive efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen and stewarding team.
