Qualifications

• 1+ years of line cook or banquet cooking experience in a hotel, club, or restaurant setting.
• Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced banquet kitchen environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute high-quality banquet meals for events of varying sizes and styles.
• Set up and break down banquet line stations efficiently before and after service.
• Follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and presentation.
• Coordinate with banquet and kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation following FIFO standards.
• Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and mise en place for upcoming events.
